My hybrid notebook system

I had a rings planner back in the late 90s that made me feel like a real boss. I wandered around town with that ridiculously bulky planner, my discman and my folder of CDs while basking in the glorious mountains of potential bestowed onto me by my youth.

But stupid me bought into the hype of Facebook when it appeared in the early 2000s and after a complete and total buy in to the newfangled thing they called the World Wide Web, I seemed to have lost my way and forgot how to live without being online.

Now, I’m trying to inch my way back into a more analog way of living partly due to nostalgia but also to reclaim a bit of myself back. I’m still refining this system but at the moment, I have:

It’s all kinda bitsy and I’m still considering maybe using an A5 planner in 2027 instead but I’m still thinking about it. I also should try to consolidate my journaling a little. I’m not sure having this many separate books is a good idea.

bye for now! please enjoy this picture of a ginormous snail I had the pleasure of meeting today. Made me think of the novel Endling by Maria Reva.
